CCD MISSION STATEMENT
We, the CCD Program (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) of St. John of God Parish, strive as teachers in fidelity to the Catholic faith to instill in the students in our care (Kindergarten through Eighth Grade) a love for God, others and self through catechetical instruction and the sacramental life of the Catholic Church.

In helping parents to realize that they are the primary religious educators of their children, we seek to assist them in cultivating in their children an understanding of what it means to live a Christ-centered life in today's world.

SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS

There will be no Sunday School on Sunday, Jan. 31. Sunday School resumes next week, February 7, 2010 for all students.

HOW DOES A PERSON BECOME A CATHOLIC?
The R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) program sees to the needs of adults who wish to become Catholic. Please contact John Fatula at 412-331-8573 for questions and more information if you are interested.

BAPTISMAL PROGRAM FOR NEW & EXPECTING PARENTS

The next class will be held on Sunday, FEB. 14, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM in Mother of Sorrows Chapel.
