ASH WEDNESDAY
Wednesday, February 10, is Ash Wednesday. Following is the schedule for this day in our parish of St. John of God:
9:30AM - Church: Mass with Ashes
12:00PM - Church: Service with Ashes
6:30PM - Church: Mass with Ashes

This is not an obligation but a wonderful way to begin our Lenten Journey. Hopefully, we will all take the time to get closer to God and prepare for His Resurrection. Homebound relatives can receive ashes from family members who have participated in one of the Masses or Services during the day.

TOWNHALL MEETING
Following the 6:30PM Mass on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 10, in the Church at St. Mary's, there will be a Town Hall Meeting. All parishioners are encouraged to come and participate in the governance of St. John of God Parish. This is the perfect time to voice your opinions and ask Fr. Lou any questions you may have regarding our Parish.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Stations of the Cross will be celebrated in St. John of God Parish every Friday during Lent (with the exception of Good Friday) at 6:30PM in St. Mary's Church. Come pray and reflect on Jesus' way to Calvary and participate in one of the most important devotions honoring the passion of Jesus.

SCHEDULING 9:30am MASS AT THE CHAPEL
To accommodate our Sunday School schedule, you remember that we temporarily suspended the 9:30AM Mass in Mother of Sorrows Chapel for the summer returning the Sunday after Labor Day. We will do the same thing this winter. Our Sunday School program will pause on Sunday, Dec 21 and will resume on Sunday, Feb 14. Therefore, there will not be a 9:30AM Mass in the Chapel at Mother of Sorrows after Sunday, Dec 21 but will return on Sunday, Feb 14, the First Sunday of Lent when Sunday School classes will resume.
